							Mission Statement Company Profile Team Commitment to Sustainability			Steve Rauf, CEO and President, a civil engineer with a masters in Business Administration provides development oversight and leadership for Othello Partners. His multidisciplinary academic foundation is coupled with a diversity of professional experiences. A resident of the Rainier Valley, Rauf founded Real Estate Investment Partners, LLC (REI Partners) in 2002. REI Partners has created over 70 units of affordable, market-rate housing in the Rainier Valley. Another sister company REI Properties LLC is currently managing the development of 66 townhomes near the Rainier Beach light rail station. Mike Hlastala, Chief Operating Officer, is the primary contact for Othello Partners. Holding both Construction Management and Architecture degrees from the University of Washington, Seattle native Hlastala, has managed over 4.5 million square feet of commercial projects; including the 7th and Madison office building in Seattle; Bremerton Harborside, a transit-oriented mixed-use development; the Kitsap Credit Union Headquarters, and Union Station, a transit-oriented mixed-use office project in Seattle.
